Receiving Trust Money
- When
trust money is received, the trust officer shall issue an official
trust receipt to the payer. Details of receipts shall be entered into the
trust cashbook.
- Procedures
in Part 5 of the Manual relating to receiving and banking money shall also
be complied with.
Trust Payments
- All
payments from the trust account shall be adequately supported and made
only for the purpose of the trust.
- No
payment may be made unless it has been properly authorised.
- The
accounts officer shall be responsible for raising payment vouchers
for trust payments.
- Payment
procedures outlined in Part 2 of the Manual must be complied with.
